Creativity – the key element in communication
In recent years, social media has become an ever more important and more challenging part of public communication. Every tweet, every post, every shared message ideally results from a creative planning stage and an individual communications strategy. Creativity in relation to social media is therefore mainly the process of creating something new and creatively bringing what already exists to the attention of target groups.

Content brings communication to life. A strategy is needed to obtain a positive reaction or at least to generate greater interest.. Communicators as marketers are in demand as well as needed to adapt information so that as many forms of content as possible can be generated from one “piece of information”. For example, a blog post can also become a graph, a survey, a customer assessment or a video. This content can then be shown on Facebook, Google+, Slideshare or YouTube.
- Here are some guidelines on how to make your content more creative..
• Creating engaging content includes knowing which content would be the most appropriate on which platform. Platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and Vine offer entirely different approaches to being creative – and therefore different opportunities.
• Another option to boost creativity on social networks is to set up an editing function. In recent years, company blogs have provided a whole new way of creating new and stronger links with potential customers, employees and other bloggers. Bloggers are essential to spread information.
• Regardless of the type of communication or social network chosen, it is important to publish more than just fleeting messages that are quickly lost in the flood of other messages. Social Hubs, i.e. collection points for activities, keywords and hashtags from various channels.

and meant to improve the results of thinking and discussion. It may be used either by oneself or in a group. Each hat is marked with a different color and represents the following type of thinking:
The White Hat represents facts, information, and statistical data, as well as identifying missing information and from which sources it may be collected.
The Red Hatsymbolizes emotions and feelings. While wearing this hat, people are “allowed” to express their feelings about the subject or to share their general mood, which might be affecting their participation or lack of it.
The Yellow Hat signifies positive rationality, and is used to look at the positive aspects of a situation or idea, on the potential benefits of the suggested course of action, and on the parties who are expected to profit from it.
The Black Hat is in a way the opposite of the Yellow Hat. It is used for discussing the negative repercussions of the plan, the potential dangers, and any criticism on the logic of arguments made in its support.
The Green Hatstands for creativity and unconventional thinking. When wearing this hat, people are encouraged to think creatively. Brainstorming, creative thinking tools, lateral thinking and other such methods are to be used in order to search for unexpected developments of the idea or the discussion.
The Blue Hat – this hat is used for directing the discussion, for switching hats when necessary, for summarizing the major points of the discussion, as well as for making decisions.
